St. Francis Civic Association Names City Clerk/Treasurer Anne Uecker as
2025 Citizen of the Year!  Congratulations Anne!

The St. Francis Civic Association will be honoring Anne Uecker, as Citizen of the Year on Saturday, March 7th at the St. Francis Community Center located at 3476 E. Howard Avenue. Tickets are available by contacting the St. Francis Civic Association at stfranciscivicassociation@gmail.com.

Annually, the Citizen of the Year Committee, comprised of past recipients, recognize the accomplishments and commitments of an individual who has made a lasting impact on the St. Francis Community.

In addition to being the St. Francis City Clerk/Treasurer, Anne has also been active on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Civic Association which annually provides scholarships to graduates of St. Francis High School and St. Thomas More High School.  SFCA also provides the 4th of July Celebration and concessions for St. Francis Days.

Anne also serves on the St. Francis Days Committee and Celebrations Committee.  Her volunteerism spans decades of service in numerous community events and organizations, including St. Francis Lions Club, Concerts in the Park, and National Night Out.

Professionally Anne has been a steadfast advocate for the municipal clerk profession, earning the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association and the “Quill” Award from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

After 33 years of service to the City of St. Francis, Anne has announced her retirement from the City in May 2026. The St. Francis Civic Association is proud to honor Anne Uecker for her lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and community pride here in St. Francis.
